The Airdrie Country Estates 160 acre site is situated at the intersection of Township Road 264 and Range Road 291 approximately 2.5 miles east of the Queen Elizabeth II Highway (Highway 2). The site is situated within the previously proposed Airdrie East Area Structure Plan (AEASP) which received First Reading on July 31, 2007. The county of Rockyview did not vote on the third reading of the AEASP and the ASP has become dormant. As a result, we are working with the County to discuss the possibility of having the property moved into the East Balzac ASP. Discussions are ongoing in this regard.
