Legacy Communities Ltd purchased 503 acres of land on the Elbow River; approximately 300 acres of land will be used for residential development using state of the art environmentally sustainable or green technologies. The remaining 200 acres of land on the flood plain of the river will be used for park land for the community including the adjacent land developments.  Although the Area Structure Plan will dictate the residential density and thus the total number of dwellings, we have planned for a total of 2000 units. Adjacent lands are being developed by Western Securities, Qualico and the VIP Development Group.
