Harbour View Landing Update February 20, 2013

It has come to the attention of the Project Managers of the Harbour View Landing project that there have been certain individuals spreading stories that the project was rejected by the City Council of Courtney. Apparently this misinformation was attributed to a newspaper article that was carried in the Comox Valley Echo. The article, written by Philip Round, states that the Harbour View project was taken off the agenda in November 2012. This is accurate, but it was taken off the agenda by our project managers, after discussion with the mayor and councillors, it was decided to get the various reports and studies completed before making the final presentation to the city council. This meeting is now scheduled for March 11, 2013.

We felt it was important to clear up the misinformation that has been introduced by people who are attempting to derail the project.
